Departing from the discipline of working on ultrasmooth gesso, I deliberately built up an uneven surface on this canvas to work colors and glazes in and around the crevices.  As always, I neither pre-conceived of an idea nor color theme, but began with simply the color my body wanted to work in that day - light, radiant, warm yellows.  Spherical bodies in space began to emerge, some moving at great speed, and alas, it was obvious I was being lead to render the process of 3- D materialization.  Vortexes through which energy was downstepping into and out of this plane of existence.
